Vitamin A is a critical fat soluble vitamin and antioxidant that plays a vital role in eye and immune function, as well as supporting skin health. There are two forms of Vitamin A, Active Vitamin A and beta carotene. Active Vitamin A comes from animal-derived foods and is called retinol, while beta carotene comes from fruit and vegetables. Nutricost has formulated their Vitamin A with a palmitic acid (fatty acid) and retinol blend, which does not need to be converted into the active form, unlike beta-carotene.

Keep in mind the inner seal comes off when you twist off the top bottle cap, and will either be around the rim when you open it up or on the inside of the cap as you twist it open. You can take a sharp object to poke it if you wish to see on the inner cap. Seal tops only. It comes off as you twist the cap and the seal is on the inside of the cap and hardly visible as it's white and you need to poke it with a needle as it's very thing seal made to come off as you twist it off. Softgels may stick together due to temperature changes during transit while traveling in postal vehicles across different climates. Gently turn the bottle upside down and shake to separate. This does not affect product quality, safety, or effectiveness.
