What Is Maca?
The Maca plant, known scientifically as Lepidium meyenii, is sometimes referred to as Peruvian ginseng.

Lepidium meyenii, known as Maca or Peruvian ginseng, is an edible herbaceous biennial plant of the family Brassicaceae that is native to South America in the high Andes mountains of Peru. It was found exclusively at the Meseta de Bombón plateau close to Lake Junin in the late 1980s. It is grown for its fleshy hypocotyl that is fused with a taproot, which is typically dried, but may also be freshly cooked as a root vegetable. If it is dried, it may be further processed into a flour for baking or as a dietary supplement (making it's powder white). It also has uses in traditional medicine. As a cash crop, it is primarily exported as a powder that may be raw, or processed further by the supplement industry: gelatinized or made into an extract. May Increase in size by up to 4 inches!

Because adding extract fillers, coloring, flavors for taste or smells can have a bad reaction with the main ingredients. So keep in mind we do not use any extra type of flavors or other ingredients. If you only got part of your order it's not that we forgot but that we had to use another shipping bag as supply and demand lately has been short on shipping bags so you will get 2 packages and not just 1 package. Please beware after December 26th we've changed suppliers with smaller softgels that are still the same quality and ingredients in them, same equivalency.
